Provider and scope

These terms apply to the use of HolidayWow. The provider is Orlero UG (haftungsbeschränkt) i. G., Gutenbergstraße 5, 67227 Frankenthal (Pfalz), Germany, represented by its managing director Shramish Kafle.

The service

HolidayWow provides travel information, holiday planners built from official public holiday lists, and a trip planner, free of charge. We do not sell trips, and we do not become a party to bookings. Climate, flight times, places and prices come from the sources named on our pages and serve as a guide. Your employer's leave policy and your contract decide which days you actually have off.

Your account

Some features, such as saving trips, need a free account. Your details must be accurate, and you keep your sign-in details to yourself. You can delete your account at any time in the settings. We may block accounts that breach these terms or the law.

Partner offers

Links take you to offers of other providers, for example flights, ferries, stays, tours, car hire or eSIMs. If you book there, your contract is only with that provider, under its terms and prices. Some links earn us a commission; your price stays the same. We follow the ACCC's guidance and the Australian Consumer Law: links that can earn us a commission are labelled "Ad" where they appear, and we do not present ads as independent reviews.

Using our content

Texts, graphics and data on HolidayWow are protected. You may use them for private purposes. Photos by others are subject to the licences named in the credits. Automated mass extraction of the site needs our permission.

Your content: reviews, photos and comments

You can review trips, write tips, upload photos and comment on shared trips. You are responsible for your content. It must reflect your own experience, respect the rights of others, contain no insults, advertising, contact details or links, and comply with the law. Only upload photos you took yourself and where recognisable people agree. Bought or fake reviews are not allowed.

You give us a simple, free right to show your content in our services while it is online. Only your first name appears publicly. You can change or delete your content at any time; deleting your account removes it completely.

Reports and moderation

You can report any public content with "Report", also without an account. We decide on reports promptly and give reasons for every removal. You can challenge a decision within six months at holidaywow@orlero.com. Liability

We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence and for personal injury. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential obligations and limited to the foreseeable, typical damage. This does not limit any guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

Changes

We may update these terms for the future, for example when new features arrive. We tell account holders about material changes by email.

Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Nothing in these terms excludes the consumer guarantees of the Australian Consumer Law, and you can bring a claim in the courts of your state or territory.

Dispute resolution

We do not take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. If something goes wrong, write to us first; we answer every message.
