Ten years of climate
Temperature, sea, sun and rain days for every month, measured, not guessed. You see how your trip will feel before you go.

This family trip planner app builds a day-by-day holiday plan with a relaxed pace, shorter legs between stops, and timing around half term or the school holidays, all editable on a map and shared with the whole family.
A family trip needs a different shape to a couple's city break: shorter days, breaks built in, and rooms that fit everyone, which is why this app lets you set the pace to relaxed (one to two stops a day) rather than leaving every trip at the same default. You describe the holiday in one sentence, naming the kids and the month, and the planner reads the group size and pace straight from your words.

The plan is then drawn as a route on a map, with each stop a pin and each leg timed, so a day that looks short on paper but means a long drive between two stops shows itself before it is booked.

Pace matters more with children in the group: a relaxed setting keeps a day to one or two stops, leaving room for a slow morning or an early finish, while a packed pace of three to five stops suits older kids or a short city stay. The plan checker re-orders the day automatically whenever a stop moves, so a nap time or an early dinner does not need to be worked around by hand every time something changes.

Dates are optional while the shape of the trip is still settling, and a plan built on a month alone fills in its weekday, live weather and live prices once real dates are added, useful for families juggling term dates before booking anything.

A family half-term week in Costa Brava in February comes back against day 14 °C, night 7 °C, a sea at 13 °C, 6 hours of sunshine and 5 rain days, with the door-to-door leg for the whole family mapped out from the first screen. A relaxed pace suits the cooler days, with indoor stops ready for the wetter afternoons.
A different kind of family trip, Las Vegas in October, shows day 28 °C, night 14 °C, 10 hours of sunshine and 2 rain days, a longer journey that benefits from a relaxed first day or two to settle in before a fuller pace begins.

Half term, the Easter holidays, the summer holidays and the Christmas holidays are the four windows most UK families plan around, and the Bank Holiday planner reads these breaks directly, turning them into trip ideas before a single stop is chosen. A short break closer to home, such as the Isle of Wight in December (day 10 °C, night 8 °C, 16 rain days), suits a shorter school holiday window without the longer travel day a flight abroad needs.

A family can also set a relaxed pace for the travel days either side of the main trip, keeping the plan gentle on the day everyone is tired from an early flight or a long drive.

Stays, tours and transport show a real price from a partner (Booking.com, GetYourGuide, Viator, Trip.com, flight partners), or a button to check the live price, so a family room or a connecting pair of rooms can be compared on real cost rather than a guess. Booking happens inside the plan through partner links in pounds, with a trip budget and price watch on the stays being considered.

Paris in March, with day 12 °C, night 2 °C and 11 rain days, is the kind of short family trip where live prices on a few nearby stays make choosing a base simple, with the cost splitting tool ready for the moment grandparents join in on the booking.

Direct flights, flight times and transfers from 9 UK airports, worked out from your door to the hotel.

Flights, hotel, transfers and experiences in one sum for everyone traveling, with the provider and when the price was checked. No teaser prices.

A plan built for adults alone often assumes a fuller day than a family can actually manage, which is why setting the pace to relaxed from the first sentence changes more than the number of stops. It also shapes which stays and tours surface first, favouring options closer to the base rather than ones that add an extra hour of travel either way.

Grandparents travelling with the family can be given a viewing role on the shared plan, so they can follow the itinerary without needing to manage the edits themselves.

Describe the family holiday in one sentence, naming the school break or the month, and the first plan appears on the map in the same session, paced for the group from the very first draft.
