A road trip lives or dies on pace: too many stops in a day and nobody enjoys the drive. HolidayWow reads your sentence about the trip and sets relaxed, balanced or packed days on the map, with every leg timed and every overnight stop a pin you can move.
A road trip is really a string of short trips joined by driving, so the order of the stops and the length of each day matter more than they do for a single-base holiday. The planner reads a sentence such as a route and a month, then sets the pace behind it: relaxed (1 to 2 stops a day), balanced (2 to 3 stops) or packed (3 to 5 stops).

Every leg between stops shows its travel time on the map, so a day that looks short on a zoomed-out view and a day that is genuinely short are easy to tell apart before you commit to either.

Each day of the road trip draws as its own route on the map, with a pin for every overnight stop and every stop along the way. Door to door, the first day includes the ride to pick up the trip, whether that is a flight and transfer or the start of the drive itself.

Because the pace can change day by day, a long driving day can sit next to a light day built around a single base, without redrawing the whole trip by hand.

December in Los Angeles sits around 18°C by day and 8°C overnight, with the sea at 16°C, 7 hours of sun and 6 rain days across the month, cool enough for layers in the morning and clear for coastal driving through the day. The page shows live prices for the flight over and for the car hire once the route is drawn, so the booking side of a long overseas drive sits next to the plan rather than in a separate tab.
On the map, each coastal town becomes its own pin with the drive time to the next one shown on the leg, so a relaxed pace of one or two stops a day keeps the route from turning into a string of short, rushed visits.

Drag a stop to another day, remove one that no longer fits, or lighten a day that runs long, and the plan checker rebuilds the order so the travel times between the remaining stops still add up.

The side panel assistant can make the same change by voice or text: select a day or a stop on the route and ask for a swap, a lighter day or an extra night somewhere along the way.

New Caledonia in December runs around 29°C by day and 24°C overnight, with the sea at 27°C, 8 hours of sun and 17 rain days, warm enough for the coast road and the beaches either side of the showers. It sits among the shorter overseas routes on the map, the kind of distance that suits a loop built around a handful of coastal bases rather than one long drive.
New CaledoniaA loop like this suits a balanced pace of 2 to 3 stops a day, with the overnight bases set a short drive apart so the days on the road stay comfortable rather than rushed.
New CaledoniaWith around 20 days of annual leave typical across Australia, the Long Weekend planner turns public holidays and leave days into longer road trip windows using official dates, so a long weekend can stretch into a proper loop without extra leave.

Families timing a road trip to the school holidays (autumn, winter, spring, summer) or Easter get a plan built around those exact weeks, since school holiday dates differ by state.

Direct flights, flight times and transfers from 7 Australian airports, worked out from your door to the hotel.

Flights, hotel, transfers and experiences in one sum for everyone traveling, with the provider and when the price was checked. No teaser prices.

Stays and tours along the route show live prices from partners (Booking.com, GetYourGuide, Viator, Trip.com, flight partners), with booking happening from inside the plan in Australian dollars, and a trip budget tracking the total as stops are added or removed.

One link shares the whole route with everyone coming, with roles for who can view and who can edit, so a group road trip can be planned together rather than passed around as screenshots.

May in Dubai sits around 30°C by day and 28°C overnight, with the sea at 29°C, 11 hours of sun and 0 rain days across the month, dry and bright enough to put the whole day on the road without a weather check.
A packed pace of 3 to 5 stops a day suits a short desert loop like this, since each stop sits close to the last and the long sunshine hours leave room for an evening stop as well as a morning one.
A wetter month changes the shape of the same kind of trip: a loop through Bali in April, at 28°C by day with 21 rain days across the month, sits better at a relaxed pace of 1 to 2 stops, with longer gaps built in for the showers that pass through most afternoons.

Describe the route and the month in one sentence, and the first draft of the trip appears on the map with the overnight stops already placed, ready for the pace to be adjusted stop by stop.

It sets the route, the overnight stops and the daily pace on a map from one sentence about the trip, with travel times on every leg so the days stay realistic rather than overloaded.
Yes. Three paces are available, relaxed (1 to 2 stops a day), balanced (2 to 3 stops) or packed (3 to 5 stops), and the pace can be set for the whole trip or changed for a single day.
The app is free to download and to plan with, including the route, the map and every edit; booking happens through partner links when you are ready to confirm a stay or a tour.
Drag a stop to another day, swap it for another place, or remove it, and the plan checker reorders the remaining stops so the travel times on the route still line up.
Once dates are added, each day card on the route shows its weekday and live weather, built from NASA POWER air data and NOAA OISST sea temperature for the month.
Yes. One link opens the same route for everyone, with roles for viewing and editing, so the group can adjust stops and the pace together before booking.
No. A road trip can be built around a month alone, and dates can be added later to bring in live weather and live prices for each overnight stop.
